NYC born and raised, DJ Ody Roc has a creative soul imprinted with b-boys and battle DJs and talent that schools future generations of djs. A turntablist performer with more than a few "tricks" up his sleeve, Ody Roc magically blends hip hop, rock, 80's, breakbeat, electronica, and dance like no other.

As an in-demand dj, Ody Roc first came up during NYC's "club kid" era, playing at El Flamingo and the legendary The Tunnel, as showcased in a recent documentary. By 1998, Ody was a global finalist at the DMC, and by 2000, Diddy had him opening the Bad Boy U.S. tour. What followed is an envious resume of residencies in NYC's hotspots and headline appearances in too many to count U.S. and global nightlife hubs ranging from Las Vegas to Miami to Paris to Zurich. Go ahead, google him. Ody's performances are synonymous with his philosophy: "if you can't bop to it, it ain't music." Whether playing for the masses (Rock the Bells, 40,000+) or private events (Harley Davidson; Chanel -NYC, Diesel-Zurich), DJ Ody Roc lives to hype up crowds—whether it's the hippest hipster, grimiest hip hop head, hardest house freak, or Aerosmith's Steven Tyler! If the crowd is an orchestra, Ody is the conductor.

Ody's secret passion for house music is not so much a secret anymore. He first made a name for himself as one of the original residents at the world renowned Cavo Paradiso (Mykonos). For 8 years and counting, he has been spinning in dance meccas overseas, alongside the privileged company of Steve Lawler, Chus and Ceballos, and Swedish House Mafia. Soon to be released is his debut EP, where you can expect to hear a sound carved deep into the house music genre.
